Betsey O’Brien, Executive Director of NAMI Piedmont Tri-County, along with the NAMI Piedmont Tri-County’s board and employees are thrilled to announce you are invited to join us at the (soft) opening of our community drop-in center on May 28th between the hours of 4 PM and 6:30 PM. (COVID19 precautions in
place)

This location is a true Drop-In Center, a physical location that provides a safe, supportive, and normalizing environment for Individuals labeled “mentally III” in
this community, especially those who are isolated in society and for those whose employment settings are not available or meeting their needs. Our intention is to
provide an atmosphere of acceptance where individuals have purpose and where one is able to grow in self-worth, dignity, and self-respect. The drop-in center is
intended simply as a place to just be. We will offer activities focused on fostering relationships and personal empowerment in an environment of acceptance and
community. Offering opportunities to build personal confidence and a community rapport. This will be a place where no one passes judgment, diagnoses, or
medicates. Individuals will be invited to visit at will and find their community of support, compassion, self-esteem, and acceptance.
